Koenigseder Nissan GTR 2011

Koenigseder Nissan GTR
The prestigious Austria-based tuning company Koenigseder has released a new kit for the Nissan GTR. Back in 2007, Nissan launched the highly anticipatedGodzilla GT-R with a twin-turbo engine producing 480 horsepower. Since then, tuners have raised the standards and half of them have nearly doubled the performance figures. The Nissan GTR has received all the hype it deserves so far, and Koenigseder decided to add their touch to what can be considered the sports car of the decade in terms of price and performance. First, the tuning firm painted the exterior in their favorite bright orange color, which is common to see with the other projects they take on. Next was the all new Nissan GTR aerodynamic kit with a moderate design.

The Koenigseder package for the GT-R consists of a new front bumper with additional air intakes, side skirts with similar intakes, and a diffuser for the rear bumper. Additional modifications to the exterior include aftermarket 21-inch rims in a two-tone black and orange color finish. Regarding the technical improvements, Koenigseder hooked up the Nissan GTR with a new air filter, Akrapovic titanium exhaust system, and a remapping of the ECU. The results?
These customizations give the Godzilla Nissan an additional 100 hp to boost its final number to 580 hp. At the track it is able to reach 200 km/h (124 mph) in just 9.8 seconds, however to handle this amount of power a new suspension upgrade was necessary. The Nissan GTR was fitted with a KW suspension kit from Koenigseder, and a last minute tweak to the car includes the aftermarket wheels wrapped in high performance Yokohama Advan Sport tires.

2011 Nissan Sports Cars 370Z Hybrid

2011 Nissan Sports Cars 370Z Hybrid
The interior of the 2011 Nissan Sports Cars 370Z Hybrid is always wide enough for vehicles in its class, and the addition of a new battery for the car will hopefully not impact important features. Standard features for the Nissan 370Z interior will remain almost identical to those available in models 2010 and includes keyless ignition and entry, climate control, tilt steering wheel, and auto-dimming rearview mirror.

Nissan Micra Barbie Car in UK

Chorley nissan has launched a search for a Barbie girl to drive away in what could prove to be the most expensive Micra on the road – a special edition pink Micra C+C with personalised numberplate ‘BAR81E’.
The pink Micra C+C (coupe and cabriolet), is currently on display in Chorley nissan’s showroom on Strand Road, Preston – and appropriately, sports a number plate any Barbie Girl would be proud of.
The dealership is hoping that the pink C+C, normally priced at £14,750, will be sold together with the number plate for an incredible £36,250, making it the most exclusive and most expensive Micra on the road!
Chorley Nissan, the North West’s leading Nissan dealer group, has pledged to donate £250 to breast cancer charity, Breakthrough Breast Cancer, when the car is sold.
Steve Jackson, Managing Director of www.newreg.com, a Preston-based company and owner of the BAR81E numberplate has also pledged a charity donation if the plate, worth £21,500, is sold with the pink Micra.
Chorley Nissan Group Director Peter Portlock said: “Nissan produced just 275 of these pink Micra C+Cs as a result of Breakthrough Breast Cancer, and we’re lucky enough to have one of them here in Preston.
“When Steve Jackson from www.newreg.com approached me and asked if we would display the vehicle with their BAR81E numberplate – it seemed a fantastic idea and a great way to promote the ‘Breakthrough’ campaign.
“We’re absolutely certain there’s a Barbie girl out there who’d love to get her hands on both the limited edition pink Micra and the ‘BAR81E’ number plate that really makes this a true one-of-a-kind car.” via
Peter added: “Breakthrough’s research, education and campaigning work is absolutely vital and we’re delighted to be able to support them and have a bit of fun in the process.”

Nissan and Mitsubishi to expand business tie up

Nissan and Mitsubishi to expand business tie up
Nissan Motor Co. and smaller rival Mitsubishi Motors Corp. will deepen business ties to get ahead in the fiercely competitive global car industry, including establishing a minicar joint venture in Japan that could eventually expand to other countries.
In the agreement announced Tuesday, the two Japanese automakers will also make more cars for each other under what is known as an “original equipment manufacture” or OEM partnership. Under such a deal, one automaker supplies vehicles to another automaker to sell under its own brand, enabling companies to lower production costs through economies of scale
(1) Currently Nissan Buy Mitsubishi’s Kei car;the Ek wagon,Townbox and Pajero Mini. then rebadge to Nissan brand in their home country.
(2) The two has agreed to form a comprehensive tieup centered on the formation of a50-50 joint venture to design and develop minivehicles for the domestic market.Mini vehicles are defined by specifications unique to Japan: maximum length of 3.4 meters (11.15 feet), width of 1.48 meters (4.86 feet), height of 2 meters (6.56 feet) and engine displacement of less than 660 cc.The two companies are moving to establish a 50-50 joint venture next year and release a new minicar model in 2012
(3) The two carmakers will also boost reciprocal supplies of vehicles procured on an original equipment manufacturing(OEM)basis.
(4) Nissan will provide a light van and wagon to Mitsubishi Motors for the domestic market, while Mitsubishi Motors will supply Nissan with a sport utility vehicle for markets in the Middle East.
(5) To cope with capacity shortfalls in Thailand, Nissan will shift production of its brisk-selling Navara pickup truck to Mitsubishi’s plant in Laem Chabang Industrial Estate in Chonburi Thailand, said Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn. It may collaborate on a new one-ton pickup model as well.
(6) In the longer term, the two companies are looking at manufacturing and engineering collaboration of a new generation one-tonne pickup truck. If this takes off, the next generation Triton and Navara could be non-identical twins underpinned by the same platform and rolling out from the same factory.
(7) “In the  auto industry, cooperation on specific projects among automakers is becoming increasingly common,” Ghosn said at a joint press conference with his Mitsubishi counterpart.
“It is, in fact, a signal of how our industry is evolving to sustain success over the long term, by leveraging size, scale and investments more effectively to create more value,” he said.
(8)Nissan and Mitsubishi aren’t the only ones eyeing the minicar market. In September, Toyota Motor Corp., the world’s biggest automaker, announced plans to expand its product line to include minivehicles made by subsidiary Daihatsu Motor Co.
(9)Nissan and Mitsubishi may collaborate on electric cars sometime in the future, but it’s “too early” to embark on anything concrete, Ghosn said.
(10) Both presidents denied the possibility of forming a capital tie-up.
